SFDA Hosts the USDF Book Club Meeting with Janet Foy

SFDA hosted a virtual book club meeting with Janet Foy on June 24, 2020 to discuss her book, Dressage for the Not-So-Perfect Horse. USDF members from GMOs around the country joined us in asking her questions inspired by reading her book.

Since there were nearly 150 members signed up for the event, we held a pre-meeting the week before to identify our most important questions. Kellie Kaspriske, our SFDA secretary served as our host and asked our questions developed in that meeting.

It was a really special evening and we hope to do it again.

Our event attracted national attention and there will be an article about it in the USDF publication, The Connection. We’ll post it when we get it.

Check out the map showing where all the members were joining from.

Could we also add (it’s not in the trifold) that we follow USDF? I am too tired tonight, but could we say something like: SFDA follows the USDF rules and guidelines concerning regional schooling horse shows.
